In Product Design Textiles you will work on a variety of different practical and theory projects throughout the three years. Typical practical projects include:
- Revamp project where you bring in an existing project to revamp
- Embellishment project where you learn a variety of different embellishment techniques and how to apply them to fabric to make a product
- Accessory project where you will design and make an accessory to be sold in a popular high street store
As well as practical projects, you will learn theory knowledge throughout the course. You will learn about fibres and fabrics, where they come from and how they are made.
